ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
The Institut Neurològic de Barcelona (Barcelona Neurological Institute), INB, is a medical facility staffed by a team of specialists in the human nervous system. It was founded thirteen years ago in Barcelona. More than twenty caregivers work here and are totally devoted, personally and as scientists, to medical assistance and to solving the patients’ needs in all and every one of our medical specialties. To this aim, the centre has state-of-the-art facilities, resources and treatments to face the diagnosis and treat the different neurological, neurosurgical, spinal, psychiatric and psychological disorders.
The INB is located at Vía Augusta, 277, in Barcelona city centre, which allows for the use of surgeries and equipment of three reputed health care centres as well as its own: Centro Cardiovascular San Jordi, Clínica Tres Torres y Clínica Corachán. In addition, the INB has offices in Clínica Corachán for visits and to monitor surgery patients.
In order to respond to the demands of neurological patients and for neurophysiological evaluations in the city of Girona, the INB opened in May 2002 a unit of neurological and neurophysiological unit in Clínica Bofill in Girona.
